"God I wish someone like that would become a major presidential candidate"

Those were my my thoughts while following Bernie in the 90's and 00's.......

Not counting any chickens yet. But no matter what happens from here on out, just this one victory makes me feel like

I've kept up with him for years; loved him because time and time again, he would say what I was thinking, and he was often the only one who did. He told the truth and THAT'S what resonates with people.

I never dreamed someone like him could do what he's doing!

That was a great post!

I share your feelings about Bernie. The first time I heard him on NPR, I actually had to sit down. I couldn't believe there was someone who not only understood what was happening to working and middle class people, but actually seemed to care.

This NH win, his showing in Iowa and all the enthusiasm being shown for him are good signs that the tide may finally be turning. Maybe the thought you had about Bernie years ago was more than wishful thinking - it might have been a very positive premonition.
