Anyone else notice that at one point Romney said something to Obama during the Obamacare debate like, "Sen. Brown got elected in MA so that he could stop you passing Obamacare!"
I don't have the exact clip, but when it surfaces, should Elizabeth Warren's campaign not use this to prove Brown is lying when he pretends he is an Independent and that he isn't trying to obstruct Obama?

(24,426 posts)Warren should definitely use it. I think that she should also remind voters in Massachusetts that, for all of his talk about not obstructing President, he lined up with the leadership time after time to filibuster appointments, votes, etc. Other than financial reform and possibly a couple of other things in 2010, what did he vote with President Obama on (or at least not obstruct?).

(4,551 posts)But since many MA Democrats & Independents sat out that election, I don't think that's what they want their Senator doing.
Can anyone find the exact quote?
I see some references to it on Twitter, but I haven't found it yet.

(2,852 posts)And here is what was said:
"22:01:13: ROMNEY: First of all, I like the way we did it in Massachusetts. I like the fact that in my state, we had Republicans and Democrats come together and work together. What you did instead was to push through a plan without a single Republican vote. As a matter of fact, when Massachusetts did something quite extraordinary -- elected a Republican senator to stop Obamacare, you pushed it through anyway."
