Obama needs to win big on November

In order to effectively convince the do nothing republicans to take into account his ideas. Anything less then a big win will make his presidency essentially hostage to the republicans. Obama had a clear opportunity to widen the lead and he made an absolutely terrible mistake that no doubt will alter the race.
