This is 2016 and there are really more urgent things to be concerned with.

(22,308 posts)also vacuous.
It also confirms the "hero worship" assumptions about many Clinton supporters.
You don't see our side doing this kind of thing. The closest we come is things like this:
Which at least has some substance and not flipping heart around it.

(146,325 posts)are always appropriate in GD . The difference here is that you can post negative posts in the same thread freely. There's not rule in GD that only argumentative posts are allowed. The only rule is that posts in this forum be related to the Democratic Primaries.
I hope that helps.

(90,773 posts)JURY: there is nothing rude in my suggestion that this poster is able to start his own thread. By his saying "This forum is for opposing points of view," does he really intend to suggest that literally no positive statements about one particular Democratic candidate may be allowed in GDP?

...."St. Jude, a place where, as Clinton put it, "children are always free, free to heal and free to hope."
The former Secretary marveled at St. Jude's new proton therapy center, with its equipment that can more precisely aim radiation at a patient's tumor while sparing the adjacent healthy tissue.
"One child saved in Memphis could mean ten saved in Mexico or 50 in Malawi," said Clinton, touting the hospital's "open door policy" in treating children of all places, races, and economic circumstances.
And she surely was echoing her own efforts on behalf of her husband's attempts at health-care form in the early '90s when she said, "This is what health care should look like, patients before profits, collaboration before competition, and that is particularly the kind of health care that every single child deserves. (11,649 posts)bernie i'm tired of seeing threads trashing hillary. in fact i'm having second thoughts about my vote.
actually i just made up my mind. i'm supporting hillary. i supported bernie from day 1 and contributed to his campaign. he's got a great message that will stay with us, but i don't think he can accomplish all he wants to do. hillary is rational and the most qualified person running (both parties).
i discussed it with my friend the other day. i said "if i vote for hillary i feel like i'm a traitor to bernie". he said "vote with your head -- not with your heart".

(135,425 posts)I look at Hillary the same way I look at Ginger Rogers--she did everything that Fred Astaire did....only backwards and in high heels! She should have gotten top billing!!!
Women have to be twice as good to get half the credit--we will not have a better POTUS than Hillary Clinton. She will change the world, and she will change opportunities for women in very real ways here in our own country as well as across the globe, simply by her example.
It's TIME to break paradigms, and there's no one better to do that. She is the best qualified candidate of any of them running, from either party.
