2. Lehrer is such a lousy debate moderator. Why do they keep picking him?

I think President Obama is not vigorously enough rebutting the "mistakes" (misrepresentations) made by Romney.

For example, the claim by Romney that Obamacare costs went up by $716 billion. That amount was a savings, not a cost.

Obama should have pointed out that, while Romney had cooperation from Democrats in putting health care reform into place in Massachusetts, Obama has been thwarted in implementing even bipartisan programs by a recalcitrant and hostile Republican dominated Congress.

Of course, pointing this out has to be done carefully so as not appearing to be merely an excuse for not implementing a policy.
