As usual, NY Times has its daily front page attack on Bernie.
But readers' comments typically denounce the blatant shilling. Here're a few re: Bill's despicable desperation:
The President who signed the repeal of the law that dismantled Glass Steagall is upset with the would-be President Sanders who is trying to correct that utter and complete catastrophe.
Welcome to 0.1% Clintonian triangulation, hypocrisy, desperation and intellectual bankruptcy.

(114,904 posts)up boomeranging on Hillary. This disgusting but predictable dog shit from them may work in the primary, but it will come back to haunt her in November.
The only good thing I can think of about Hillary losing us the Whie House, is that we'll be done with them.
That is cold comfort.

You KNOW the Democratic Party Conservative Establishment is worried when they drag the Old Dog out from under the porch. As soon as Hillary flashed the Old Dog emergency signal in the night skies of Iowa,
I KNEW she was in trouble.

(15,715 posts)Tech is going to go boom, just way too many H1B's. Loans are going to go boom again also. Occupy will return. The numbers of people who were earning 6 figures and are now working at Best Buy and Home Depot are staggering. I keep up with the software and wan geeks at Best Buy these days. These guys were told to get into project management, then they automated that. They were told get you Cisco can Juniper certificates and they did and then H1B's showed up.
When I got my severance package it was 26 weeks pay, last year they changed it to 13 weeks. At the gym today one of my friends still working where I did told me that in 2016 severance will change to 6 weeks max.
There will be a revolution one way or the other.

(538 posts)They're actually making Trump look like a Priest compared to them. The Clinton's are a greedy lying family who will never cop to the fact they caused needless suffering & thousands of death in the wars they voted for and to the black community with their war on WELFARE & DRUGS & the INCARCERATION of young black men! HOW NAFTA screwed over the middle class over & how Bill Clinton took advantage of a young intern! WTF is that about? Why would anyone think his position as the most most powerful man of the free world think it was okay to use his status for his own sexual satisfaction? How sick & perverted is that?

(3,982 posts)I am finally (really) "getting" the Bernie movement. It is not just about Bernie, it is about finally doing what all of us have been wanting to do. Bringing in a new President is only one part. Just winning the presidency will wake up the rest of the population and change the dynamics of congressional and senate races.
It could end the establishment incumbency problem in congress. They would not be able to run on the same lies.
Unknown Beatle
(2,672 posts)but, the incumbents aren't going down without a dirty fight. They will lie, steal votes, manipulate, gerrymander further, suppress even more voters, disappear hundreds of thousands of voter registrations, etc. These assholes don't care about democracy, all they want is power and the money it brings from lobbyists. D.C. is a very corrupt place and getting even more corrupt by the day.
We definitely need a revolution. We need to fight alongside Bernie to change DC.

(22,340 posts)I know Clinton might want to dismiss them at this point, but eventually she will have to deal with them. Eventually. Maybe. I don't know how she comes back to get young women to support her after the "you young women are just supporting Sanders to find a hook up" that came from the Albright/Steinem show.

Goblinmonger
(22,340 posts)Clinton seems to be doing a pretty good job of alienating those that are supporting Sanders. If she wins the nomination (IF), she is going to regret throwing the millennials under the bus. She will regret having Albright say there is a "special place in hell." She will regret Steinem saying they are supporting Sanders for "the boys."
But just keep ignoring that.

(17,199 posts)While the youth vote is overwhelmingly behind Mr Sanders, their turnout was still pretty undistinguished in Iowa. If more had bothered to turn out, there would be no question of Mrs Clinton "winning" that caucus. This is a point that should be taken into consideration.

(598 posts)There they go again, playing the victim card, like there's some sort of left wing conspiracy.
What we're seeing is that Hillary is not a uniter. We're seeing how polarizing she is within the Democratic Party.
She alienated the progressive wing of the party from the beginning. She didn't need them to win, she thought.

(22,308 posts)What a horrible campaign.
Hillary is the only person in American history to have a former President as a spouse while running for President. Because he is actively campaigning for her, she has an advantage nobody else has ever had.
Not only has she squandered a huge lead and lots of money, despite the former Presidents best efforts, but she now has him out complaining that anonymous posters on the internet sometimes say bad things about her.
In politics, you should never punch down. This is the most extreme example of someone making that mistake which I can imagine. Even Chelsea's lies about Bernie were not this bad.
As I said earlier, horrible campaign.

(667 posts)no wait but busy. On the outside were only Hillary and Carly volunteers. A few Bernie signs, along with Hillary, plus a Rubio, and Jeb. No Trump signs anywhere.
Now about flannel shirts ... It is New Hampshire and it is winter. I just disposed of my favorite called, "Beetle Juice" and replaced him with a red one very similar to Bill's which I nicknamed "Fargo". And, a case can be made for wearing denim as opposed to nice suit pants. It gets darn cold and it looks like Bill don't got a lot of meat left on his old bones. Mom always said you dress for comfort not to please; many a day she looked like Marjorie Main as Ma Kettle but at least she was warm.
It's always fun to watch folk from away fly in to Logan from down South in shorts and sandals to find out it is a brisk ten above zero and ground transportation is outside.
