The Sanders campaign has come under fire in recent weeks for using the veterans organizations logo on fliers. We sincerely appreciate the notification of the unintentional improper use by Sanders of the emblem of The American Legion and the helpful information pertaining to your concerns, the Seattle-based firm Garvey Schubert Barer said in a statement representing the campaign. Sanders takes intellectual property matters very seriously and does its best to respectfully and appropriately acknowledge and to not infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
The firm added that it is working with the campaign to ensure use of the American Legion emblem has ceased and will make every effort to prevent and prohibit all improper use of the emblem or name of The American Legion in its materials, fliers, or campaign.
The acknowledgment of improper use of the logo comes after American Legion filed two cease-and-desist letters to Sanders campaign within the past three weeks.

But neither group has backed him. The AARP, which represents retirees, does not endorse candidates, and the League of Conservation Voters, an environmental advocacy group, is supporting Sanderss Democratic foe, Hillary Clinton."

Every vote counts, but this isn't the way to do it. When the same mistake happens repeatedly, maybe he needs a more professional marketing staff to prevent any more of these intellectual property rights infringements.

And how many times does this campaign have to apologize?
* For the copying of another candidate's campaign data.
* For calling Planned Parenthood, NARAL, and the Human Rights Campaign "establishment"?
* For distributing literature in Iowa illegally bearing League of Conservation and AARP logos (they've pulled this one before).
* For failing to take the problems at the Veteran's Administration seriously?
* For the harassment conducted by his minions?
And more that I can't even remember. How many free passes do they get? How many blunders and gaffes are okay? How many times would he have to apologize as president?

But they came from overzealous supporters and/or volunteeers and staffers from her campaign.
It is hypocritical for Clinton and surrogates to insist on a total perfection in the behavior of everyone who supports Bernie.

Their primary focus seems to be a concerted effort at misdirection aimed at Clinton, who is neither mentioned in the article nor accused of similar intellectual property rights infringements.
Some of Sanders' integrity needs to trickle down to his fans.
