Brought tears to my eyes: "we want to live long enough to come out to caucus for you" (Bernie)

Today on CNN’s State of the Union, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Democratic presidential candidate, joined anchor, Jake Tapper to discuss the New Hampshire Primary, SNL, and much more.

TAPPER: Lastly, let me just ask you a question, that I've now covered a few of these. Has this experience changed you in any way?

SANDERS: It really has. In the sense that I perceive more than ever how far removed the congress is, and you know I'm in the senate, and the establishment media is from the reality of people's lives. It's like two separate worlds. Alright, the establishment is here and they're talking about these issues and the people are over there, struggling to keep their heads above water economically. Look we did a meeting in Iowa, in a small town, woman gets up trying to make it on ten thousand dollars a year and she broke down. To talk about the pain, the difficulty, the embarrassment of trying to make it on ten thousand dollars a year, of course it moves you. And you see when you're out, I mean I have seen literally people Jake, I think-I think two instances in Iowa where people have terminal illnesses. I think both of them, they are at hospice, and literally they were saying 'we want to live long enough to come out to caucus for you' – now what do you think that does?

TAPPER: Thank you so much for your time. Good luck on Tuesday.

1. Interesting paragraph about David Brock

I didn't know this about him...

Well, let's remember who David Brock is. He is a political attack dog and I happen to like Hillary Clinton but I am astounded by some of the people that she has hired including David Brock. David Brock, people will remember, used to be a real right wing guy who was attacking people like Anita Hill. This is an African American law professor who tried to do the right thing, and he admitted it! He said 'I lied about her'! This is the guy that Hillary Clinton is making the head of her Super PAC. I just don't understand, you know, there are-I just don't understand where the Clinton people are coming from hiring somebody like that. Every day you know they're attacking us in one way or the other.

Goldman Sachs $760,740 $750,740 $10,000

JPMorgan Chase & Co $696,456 $693,456 $3,000
Morgan Stanley $636,564 $631,564 $5,000
EMILY's List $609,684 $605,764 $3,920
Time Warner $501,831 $476,831 $25,000
Skadden, Arps et al $469,290 $464,790 $4,500
University of California $417,327 $417,327 $0

Corning Inc $322,450 $304,450 $18,000

I know you've seen both these candidates donors many times now.

I AM still looking for dirt on Bernie donors though. Hillary is supporting the less than 1 percent. Who is Bernie.... I fell for a lot when I voted for Barack the first time. I voted for him the 2nd to beat the Republicans.

the Super Pac Manager. It doesn't matter which campaign he used to support - the big super packs are supporting every client from each side. Except Sanders who won't take one. IE. Goldman Sachs is funding all Repubs and Dems except Sanders.

I've read hundreds of articles on them on finance so far and I'm into Hillary's foreign policy now.

That said, as I've always stated on this site, so far I am for Bernie.

Hillary has already proven herself to be for the 1 percent when it comes down to it. I could only vote for her to stop a Republican from getting in.

I'm trying to find out if Bernie is bought out too and if he is he's hidden it well. Obviously on social policy he's been saying the same thing for 40 years. Look, I've noticed Hillary supporters do not vet. When I find the dirt on Bernie I will call it out loud and clear. I won't defend him for it. Right now I can say it's going to bug me like crazy when I find it on him because so far he's come off as genuine. Hence that picture on my avatar. I fully believe he is the best candidate running or I wouldn't be supporting him right now.

- your statements and intent when posting convey you are decided and you are for hillary and not bernie and you are bound and determined to vet his every nook and cranny of past history - hell or high water? so why not be like everyone else - and not say you are for bernie and you are vetting both of them until you decide. your avatar is very misleading - is this your intention?

I think you better re-read.

And I think you better look at that list of donors - one is completely damning and the other should make you smile.

for her.

Really. Bernie can stand up for himself. Clinton's problem is she can't find anything on him. You think I will actually be able to? She's got the pro's working for her.

And she's got so much dirt on her that I couldn't vote for her unless it were between her and a Republican.

I mention Obama because, I believed him. I really did when I voted for him the first time. I want to know if that's what I'm getting into with Bernie. So far that doesn't look like the case at all. I'm just saying if I find out it is, I will be telling people, not defending it. He'd just be the least evil instead of the hope and change that he is to me right now.

are and because Bernies went back so far and weren't banksters and the insurance industry.

I suspect Hillary has defense industry funding but I don't see it yet. She's always voted like it. We all found out yesterday that she getting paid for her unyielding Israel support by a rich Israelii who donates to her.

One more thing, take a long look at the donor list and see who Sanders is up against. I'm afraid for Bernies life over who is funding Hillary. And, that nasty campaign manager didn't only go after Anita Hill. He also went after Hillary. She hired her worst enemy in a previous campaign. I think her overlords gave her him. We already know they are financially backing both sides of the aisle. It's part of the across the board corruption.

But I guess there's a better chance that these Bernie supporters will live long enough to vote for him.
