I think they're just flailing about in a panic, looking for any straw to grasp. The next stage is anger. Final stage is resignation and acceptance.

Then it becomes okay to be sexist and mean and insulting. Here's a fine example at Post #7:

It exists only in their mind. But if you look for it, it's not there, which proves it exists, but only in their mind. It's a contradiction which can't be disproven, because it doesn't exist.
I guess we can call it Bro-dinger's Trump.

How can there be a "Trump wing of the Bernie campaign"? It makes no more sense than saying that there's a Sanders wing of the Trump campaign.

This sounds like another dumb meme like "Bernie Bros", except this is even worse in that what it describes isn't even logically possible. I wonder what PR firm is coming up with these stupid terms.

that are terrified that the status quo is going to be shaken up, and they are latching onto whatever meme they possibly can to scare people into voting for Hillary Clinton.

I do know that it isn't working, and is in fact counter-productive.

We need to address the politics of policy instead of the politics of nit-picking personalities.

I will be so glad when the Primary is over. The backbiting and petty crap drives me up the wall.

Luminous, you asked a good question. Why smear fellow Democrats as being in league with Donald Trump? Heck, just today someone smeared Bernie Sanders and his supporters as aligned politically with Mao and Stalin.

I mean, really? Your fellow Democrats want to commit mass killings and genocide because of a disagreement?

I swear. It absolutely stuns me at times.

Can we all just try to be a little kinder to each other? Because a couple of months from now, we are all going to be faced with a Republican lunatic and our party nominee.

Let the bad blood go.

It was so ludicrous, it made it into news reports as a "man bites dog" kind of election season wackiness. And now the Hillariouses are trying to spin it into something,. It's embarrassing to even read about.

But if they do manage to get some Trump supporters to back Sanders, that makes them former Trump supporters (which is a good thing).

I doubt there is a whole lot of people moving from supporting Trump to supporting Sanders, but if he can get any, more power to him.
