One of the problems that has dogged Bernie Sanders‘ campaign has been the behavior of some of his most fervent online supporters, first by helping to alienate the black voters that Sanders’ campaign has had trouble connecting with, and by alienating other non-white, non-male voters. The so-called “Bernie Bros” are a subset of those supporters whose favorite word, but least favorite part of the body, apparently, is “vagina.”

I'm more fascinated by the HillBros who excuse the sexist statement our young intelligent and strong women that said they were just choosing a president because they were following the boys. You know, because tee-hee, they can't think for themselves. And then excusing the follow up insult that was supposed to be an apology that said they were misinterpreting.

HillBros... why is it when women don't choose your candidate they aren't able to think for themselves? That they are just making that choice because boys?

12. I saw HillBro used in another thread and it made me laugh.

Since all of a sudden Hillary supporters are fine with someone telling young women they can't make decisions on their own and they are just following the boys, it seems to fit. I'm sure you would agree since you like the term BernieBro.

From what I've read elsewhere, they use a lot of ugly sexist language.

Is this just a phenomenon on other social media and blogs or comments under news articles... that these Bros hang out? I've really not seen this here. And saying some Hillary supporters are voting for her just because she is a woman is not being a Bernie Bro...it is actually backed up with seeing people say that, even here, not long ago in the Hillary group.

Hell, I even made a comment recently about thinking how cool it would be to have a woman for President, even if it was Hillary. Does that mean I'm not a Bernie Bro or Bernie Bra, or whatever?

I really don't want Hillary for President, but I'd love to see that glass ceiling broken...by the right woman.
