Can't help but wonder what Obama said to Wall Street

Like when he made his famous statement as to why they would not be prosecuted (look forward, not back) And they used bad judgement, but didn't really break laws.

When he picked Geitner and Summers for his to Finance pros

When he made Wall Street friendly Eric Holder AG

When Jaime Dimon was one of the most frequent visitors to the White House, at least per official logs.

Someone got some shoulder rubs, indeed. I hope someday we get to learn of those speeches and those private conversations too. I strongly suspect Taibbi
is on this even as we speak.

I thank him for staying officially neutral, but does anyone doubt the administration is pulling for Hillary? It would only be a game changer if he endorsed Bernie.

Treasury and the Justice Dept. were tasked with bailout out and protecting Goldman, Citi, BOA, etc.

But at this point, I don't think it would make a difference. Especially as a "Please! Save my legacy!" plea.

...in case some are gravitating toward Bernie. Would Obama have enough sway to influence that?

Team Hill assures us they have the AA vote sewn up, just give up now. Hillary fumbled the play they set up for her with Black Lives Matter though on 2 occasions, so...does Obama still have the sway to overcome that tone deafness and lack of social justice policy?

Even if he wanted to then that becomes the story, which would defeat the purpose.

I don't think "The Powers That Be" (ominous music) overestimate Sanders's capacity to effect change nearly as much as many of his supporters do.

He is not the progressive he pretended to be during his campaign. He has done nothing to change the Prisons For Profit system that is incarcerating a large part of the 99%. He embraces the Secret Black Security State developed during the Bush Admin. He embraces the same economics that the Republicons and Wall Street love. He doesn't even condemn the war crimes of the past Admin and plays down the seriousness of torture. He has treated journalists and whistle-blowers more severely than Bush/Cheney. He has carried our war crimes a step further in that he is killing terrorist suspects with drones with a kill ratio of 1 suspect to every ~100 innocents. Bush refused to kill with drones.

My point is that he is well established as a member of the Powers That Be Establishment that Sen Sanders supporters are fighting against. He will support H. Clinton, the Establishment candidate.
