"I Just Got 'Push Polled' by Hillary Clinton’s Nevada Campaign."

INTERVIEWER: “Hmmm, okay. So, what if I were to tell you The Washington Post said that Bernie Sanders’ campaign promises would cost more than $20 trillion and would raise everyone’s taxes — would you now be “more likely’ or ‘less likely” to vote for Sanders, or has your opinion remained unchanged?”

ME: “That’s not accurate at all. I read that editorial last week. I could tear that completely to shreds. How much time DO YOU HAVE? Let me to set the record straight and explain to you how The Post post misrepresented several of Sanders policy positions.”

INTERVIEWER: “Ummmmm. Uhhhhhhh. So, would you now be “more likely’ or ‘less likely” to vote for Sanders, or has your opinion remained unchanged?”

ME: “My position remains unchanged, because the premise of the question isn’t just misleading. It’s wrong. Do you understand that?”

Typically a polling firm of some kind is hired for this, and there's a script that they are not allowed to deviate from, which is why, despite the OP offering valid counter information, the person continued with the script, even though it no longer made sense. I've been push polled in the past, and if you don't swallow whatever crap is said, it goes quickly downhill.

Not far left.

It was a change election, but he's having a very successful administration, despite extreme GOP obstructionism.

It wasn't a revolution. America doesn't do revolutions except in extreme circumstances.

We need to build on progress not throw it out and start over.

The media does not talk about it.

Look up Works Progress Administration.

That's just one of many, many programs that FDR instituted in order to boost our economy at a difficult time.

Americans are ignorant about the 1930s and FDR's administration.

I know about it because my mother was born in 1916 and lived through the Great Depression. She credited Roosevelt. He was like a saint in her mind. FDR was a fantastic president and he oversaw a democratic revolution.

I don't think that Bernie is talking about nearly as ambitious a program as FDR put through. Bernie calls it a revolution because he wants more political participation by ordinary, working people.

We ordinary working people have very little influence in our government at this time.

Bernie's revolution is to have a positive democratic movement. He is not suggesting having a bunch of crazies running around. I think a lot of people, even some Democrats misunderstand that. But if you listen to Bernie's speeches on YouTube, you understand what he means.

That's been my experience for the last 10 years. I have a landline and get tons of pollsters for local, state and national races and about two-thirds are push-polls which are run by marketing firms. They're usually reluctant to divulge and sometimes have to ask permission but they've rarely hung up on the question.

If they ask your opinion, it's a poll. If they give you "facts" to persuade you, then ask your opinion, it's probably a push poll. Names are funny things, e.g. the "Holy Roman Empire" was nether holy, Roman, or even an actual empire.
