For the first part of this debate I have to say that Brown got the better of Warren.

But she is now finally bringing up the fact that he has actually been going around the country boasting that he will block Obama & the Democrats.

She is getting applause for this.

Up until now Brown got away with it, but it looks like she is fighting back.

Gregory is really letting Scott hit all his points. So far i calculate when only the candidates speak almost 60% of the talk time is done by Brown and the rest is Warren speaking and getting itnerrupted by Gregory.

Asked who to him of all who have ever served is a model juror, he could only name a couple current RW ones, then threw in Sotomayor.

What a putz.

Whereas even many conservative states like Texas, Missouri, North Carolina, Arkansas etc. have done so.

It may just be a coincidence, or despite being a 'liberal' state, there may be some institutional bias in MA towards women in higher office.

Hopefully Warren will be the first to break that.

I missed the first few minutes.

Did he bring up the Native American thing again?

It obviously is not causing him much damage in the polls. WE may find it offensive here, but he wouldn't be doing it if he thought it was costing him lots of votes. Obviously it is popular with his base.

Glad she was able to close this thing and leave the words with viewers about the real Brown.

But with such a lopsided debate where Brown got to speak 55% of the allotted time for the candidates it seems unfair that most voters will only remember the lies about Warren.

25. One weak point for Warren to improve on:
Mon Oct 1, 2012, 08:29 PM

She had trouble mentioning which Senators she would work with and only mentioned Sen. Richard Lugar, who is retiring, which the audience laughed at.

She needs to mention Sen. John Kerry (who endorsed her), as well as other Democratic Senators, and perhaps the 'moderate' Republican Susan Collins of Maine. She should also return fire over Brown making fun of her naming the retiring Lugar by pointing out that the reason Lugar is 'retiring' is because the Tea Party pushed him out in a primary.

And since Brown mentioned he can work with Sen. Olympia Snowe, Warren should mention that Snowe is retiring too, because she can't stand how far to the right the Republicans have gone.

The problem for Warren or any Democrat when asked a question like that, is that there are so few moderate Republican Senators left!

Most of them are far-right nuts and there are so few to choose from. I guess she should have mentioned Olympia Snowe & Susan Collins like Brown did, or maybe Lisa Murkowski (who is technically an Independent after 2010).

Brown needs to be hammered on his lie that he is an Independent.

Warren needs to say, 'As far as I know, Brown has an (R) after his name, not an (I)'.
