Can a politician survive a devastatingly embarrassing photo? Like Chris Christie's NYPD photo

In this age of cell phone cameras and dash cams, we are being filmed all of the time.

I remember seeing the Christie pic late last summer, but it seems to making its rounds again on social media. It kind of goes under the category of 'things that have been seen, that cannot be unseen'.

As the primaries rage on and the race gets more intense, can any candidate survive a tragic photograph? The photos of Weiner from twitter seem to have sealed the deal with respect to his political career.
