When she says "we stopped dealing with Pakistan" is she regretting we don't have troops there? Is she saying reducing our presence in South Asia was a bad thing?

all I know our involvement in the Middle East for decades now just causes more suffering and more hatred for the US. I just find it odd that everything laid out in the PNAC write up for a new American century has come to be.
