to attack Bernie. He avoided attacking Hillary last night...signaling that there would be party unity in the end.

Not smart to risk changing that.

Feb 2016

So, now the Bernie Brigade on DU is going to expect everyone to turn against the ONLY senator who had the guts to oppose the electoral votes of Bush/Cheney in 2004? I'm not for Hillary or Bernie at this point, but sometimes Sanders supporters here would do well to TRY to have as much class as Senator Sanders has in his pinky. So much vitriol can't be good. Thank God Senator Sanders isn't that way.

This place is fucking nuts sometimes. Rather than pausing and reflecting, they want to attack Barbara Boxer now? Nuts. Just fucking nuts. People like that don't see any grey areas -- it's black and white. With them or against them. Sad.

I saw a post that used lies just to try and bait Bernie supporters into attacking John Lewis.

Similarly some would love to start a thing against Boxer.

What she said actually wasn't that bad.

20. Does "under the bus" now mean "still supports Bernie no matter who endorses Hillary"?
Thu Feb 4, 2016, 02:40 PM
Feb 2016

I always read this phrase from HRC supporters, as if they have refined its meaning, and are hoping for the worst. Also, how many people can ACTUALLY throw someone "under the bus"? Not like all that many of us live in the same state and/or district or whatever.

I cannot think of any endorsement that would get me to support a politician who is in favor of war, fracking, cluster bombs, and increased H-1B visas, and the TPP. Even if Bernie dropped out, I cannot support a politician who is for those things. Used to be, of course, a politician who espoused those things would not have a "D" on their jersey.

I see people pointing out she is incorrect. Sanders caucusing with the Democrats for 25 years and working side by side with Boxer on several issues shows me her flawed logic.

She can say what she wants. She's wrong.
