Hillary Surrogate Argues for Bernie Presidency

So Benenson was just in a back and forth argument with Chris Hayes about Clinton's progressive credentials (an OP of its own) and at the end, while talking about and sort of comparing their educational plans (also an OP of its own), Benenson asserts Clinton is a better choice for the following reason:

"If she gets elected president, which I believe she will, the Republicans are going to have to come to terms with the fact that what they've been opposing and standing against the interest of working men and woman and the fight she has been making on their behalf that there going to have to move somewhere in the the center here to make up some ground or keep losing these elections..."

That is, literally, making an arguement to elect Sanders. If her election were to really have that effect, it would be 10 times more so for an election of Sanders. Based on Benenson own conjecture, to achieve the best chance for real change, to send the clearest message to republicans he states above, electing Sanders will have the greatest impact on republicans in forcing them to pass Sanders policies. His election would be a true mandate on the will of the people.
