GOP establishment got everything they wanted on caucus night

By far the most important thing they wanted was for Trump not to win. They were praying for a Trump defeat, and it happened. This is the beginning of the end for Trump's candidacy, and the GOP elite couldn't be weeping with more joy over that fact.

Plus, the GOP got a bonus: Marco Rubio had a strong showing. He is the guy that the GOP kingmakers want; he is the perfect puppet for their agenda. That Rubio came in third and not first (as Cruz did) actually works out for them: for the moment, they prefer that Rubio is a lesser target. Cruz and Trump can snipe at each other while Rubio quietly picks up delegates and dollars. The GOP establishment doesn't want Cruz to win the nomination, but it has no problem with giving their Tea Party segment (which they privately despise but need) a little trophy to be mollified with.

The GOP got another bonus on caucus night: they look across at the Democrats and see Hillary not really defeat Bernie. Hillary will likely lose some of her corporate sponsorship, likely to Rubio. They want a return for their money.
