Just let out a long rant on MSNBC about Bernie's pie in the sky dreams, and angrily said they can't be achieved.

(6,048 posts)Republicans tooth and nail to get anything done. But somehow Bernie will ride into the White House and Republicans will just fall in line and help him to advance his agenda. It's not pie-in-the-sky. It's delusional and deceptivel!

(8,699 posts)The difference is that Bernie says he cannot do it by himself. That it is going too take all of us to make it happen.
The problem with people like you is that you have become so heeled by teapublicans and DLC DINOs corporate agenda, people like you dont even remember that democracy requires active participation and is a contact sport (no, not physical violence), actually getting out in the streets, screaming louder, writing peitions, calling your members of Congress i.e. "making it happen".
Sorry folks, coloring in a circle next to a name with a "D" behind it is not democracy and not how government works.
So, in that regard, Clinton and her supporters are right, you don't get off your ass and organize and do not get involved do not act like you give a shit what they are doing in Washington, the man guess what? You get the government you get. And you do have to settle. You do have to compromise. You do have to eat a shit sandwich because you have no support in Congress or from the public that is to wrapped up in "reality" TV to care about anything other than their own self-interest or their own bottom line.

(6,960 posts)After all a Republican President will be able to get things done with the Republican majorities in the House and Senate that the Hillarians apparently think we are destined to have forever.
Or perhaps it is even more delusional to think that Republican hatred for the Clintons will miraculously disappear when Hillary gets to the White House and makes all of her 'practical' proposals.
Better to have hope and vision rather than wallow in Hillary's "We Can't!"
