Clinton calls Sanders comment a ‘low blow’

Sanders’s top strategist Tad Devine defended his candidate to MSNBC, saying Sanders’s comment was no mistake because Clinton herself said in September that she is a moderate.

“You know, I get accused of being kind of moderate, center. I plead guilty,” Clinton said last year in Columbus, Ohio. Clinton was referring to an attempt to find a compromise with President George W. Bush over tax cuts when she was in the Senate.

Devine said Sanders “did not impose those words on her, those words came out of her mouth.” “If she wants to renounce that statement, or somehow disavow it,” Devine added, that would change things.

The strategist pointed to a list of issues where he said Clinton was not progressive, including her stance on the death penalty and on the Syrian no-fly zone. “I could go on for a while,” he said as he mentioned issues. “No, I don’t think Bernie made a mistake by pointing out that Sec. Clinton in this campaign – not 20 years ago – said she gets accused to being moderate and centrist and pledged guilty to that claim,” he concluded.

This was my response on the MSNBC comments page.

Hillary Clinton is not a Progressive . Hillary Clinton is farther to the right than any Democratic Candidate in history.
She attacks Bernie Sanders using Karl Rove's tactics and then when Bernie Sanders answers back she runs to the teacher and says "Bernie Sanders attacked me and I want him to stop"

...as a progressive either. The three people I know supporting her (in real life) all say they like her because she is a centrist.

Bernie Sanders is attacking her.She has nothing,Bernie has the momentum going for him and she is just trying this attack strategy to see if it sticks So far no luck on her part. Tad Devine's comment said it all

Just having some fun here so before you flag me...just remember humor is what makes us human.

From 6 am to 9 am - conservative
9 am to noon progressive
noon to 3 moderate
3 pm to 6 pm conservative, progressive and moderate
6 pm to 9 pm Gramma.
9 pm to midnight Ms. Clinton - not Mrs!
midnight to 3 am - chucking in her sleep about how she can say anything and the sheep will buy it.
3 am to 6 am - Queen of the USA.

Is it that she's against Recreational Marijuana use, Medical Marijuana or both? Why wouldn't you just be for legalizing Marijuana period?

There have been some very right wing Democratic candidates in the past. It would be a stretch to say she is further to the right than Woodrow Wilson, just to name one. Personally I don't think she stands for anything other than her own ambition. Oh, and making a ton of money.

I stand corrected. She is farther to the right than Obama and Obama had us believing he was a progressive but didn't take long to find that wasn't so.

The ambition part is certainly correct.

Woodrow was to the right in politics..here for about 65 years I thought he as a very strong liberal?

Will it happen Thursday? Friday? Saturday? Sunday? Or Monday? Tuesday is too late to get the news to the masses.

I bet on Friday so she'll get all weekend and Monday sympathy coverage.
