A House Republican staffer is the man involved in a scuffle with troubled star Lindsay Lohan.
Christian LaBella, 25, works for Rep. John Shimkus of Illinois. LaBella was involved in an altercation with Lohan in her Manhattan hotel room. The star reportedly told LaBella to delete photos of her from his cell phone, and the two became involved in a fight when he refused.
Lohan claims that LaBella choked her, but refused medical attention which may cause the charges to be dropped.
Police now say Lohan may be charged with harassment.
Rep. Shumkus’ office told the NY Daily News that “the Congressman does not condone [LaBella's] actions.”
