Has Bernie congratulated Hillary on being the first woman to win the Iowa Caucuses?

I think this is a pretty big deal and it's a huge milestone.

Congratulations are in order.

Hillary Clinton Just Made History
She won what no woman had won before in Iowa.

Hillary Clinton is the first woman ever to win the Iowa caucus, the moment when the voters finally jump into America's presidential selection process. That's not something to ignore.

Yet it seemed weirdly overlooked on Tuesday, as political observers argued over why men who came in second and third actually "won" the contest.

Sure, it was a tight race, but Clinton eked out first place on the Democratic side. The Associated Press on Tuesday morning declared the former secretary of state the winner, with slightly more delegate equivalents than her chief competitor, Sen. Bernie Sanders.

any time she wins a state she didn't win in 2008?
Playing up the historical angle is probably helpful in some ways. But when, as in 2008, history is disregarded it fails. A black woman ran for office in 1972 and she won some delegates.
I guess she doesn't want to credit Shirley Chisholm since unbought and unbossed is not a standard to which she aspires.

Yes, we all get that she's a woman. There are women who are voting for her for that reason alone (stupid).

If she wants to be treated as a 'person' who is just as capable as another 'person', it seems to me she and her supporters should quit using her sex to divide people.
