Has Thursday's debate been sanctioned by the DNC? Have the campaigns agreed on other debates?

I haven't seen any reports regarding either of these points. Only that Bernie and HIllary will be debating on Thursday.

Has the DNC weighed in? And how about the other four debates, including NY? Has HIllary agreed to those?

My understanding was that he had agreed to this debate only on the condition that she consented to three additional debates, in prime time, during the months of March, April and May. I'm not aware that she has done so, so as far as I know, there will be no Thursday debate.

Strangely enough, the DNC has suddenly become irrelevant.

I agree he has nothing to gain, so I hope that it was part of a larger agreement.
