Greed is the reason we

can not have single payer. Plain and simple we live in a country that pretends to care for all people yet we do not help each other and allow people to suffer and wallow in their own pain and illness. Some like where they are in life and really do not care if others struggle to survive. This also goes for college, I hear some people state that allowing others to go to college will lessen their degree since so many will be able to achieve the same. Is this what we are and have become???

So Single Payer is off the table.

I do like the implication that what a college education proves is that you or your family could pay for it. Why not just allow people to buy degrees if that's the whole point.

and want to preserve that way of live for when they get there. I think those people have a better chance of getting there by winning the Power Ball lottery. Then, they still won't be admitted to the club.

Sometimes it takes experiencing the suffering that others go through before some of us can become empathetic and caring. I'm recovered now, but will always put those suffering before my interests.

It's counterintuitive that if we give, we end up with more than we had.

it is hard to walk in someone else's shoes unless you have gone through some adversity yourself.
