Chris Christie has been all over the Sunday shows today saying...

that Romney's 47% comments were equivalent to Obama saying he was gonna campaign in "all 57 states." He said nobody believes that Obama thinks there are 57 states-he obviously misspoke, and ROMNEY said what HE said in-artfully, too.

Yeah-great comparison.

What utter bullshit. that's like saying Romney meant to say 49% instead of 47%. nt progressivebydesign Sep 2012 #1
In Romney's case, the sentiment, not the number, is what matters. Epic fail Christie. anneboleyn Sep 2012 #2

Not to mention the false equivalency of Christie's comparison.

Anyway... to believe Christie on this, you have to also believe that Romney meant to say a different number than 47 percent? I mean, he suggests Obama 'misspoke' by saying 57 states, when he meant 50. So, logically, Romney must have meant to say... what...37 percent? 27? 17? Maybe he meant 77 percent?

How Christie is considered to be one of the so-called 'future leaders' of the GOP is beyond me. Just like Ryan and Rubio. These guys are mirages...well maybe you'd exempt Christie from that metaphor ...but there is absolutely no there there. None. At all.

Ryan lies with the earnesty and regularity of a hardened psychopath.

Rubio is maybe a little harder to pin down... but to me he seems just out of his depth, and really just another run-of-the-mill right wing bullshitter.

Christie? Where do you start? Maybe start with his rage. His just barely under the surface anger which needs only the slightest trigger to be set off. Hardly a presidential temperament.
