Shout out to all the DU'ers

Who keep a mindful dialog, remain supportive of our party and understand that we need each other to win the lot this fall. Bashing others in your own party is not an effective way of getting them to support whomever the eventual nominee is. If unfortunately there's a bitter pill for anyone, it's best not to slap them in the face prior to asking them to swallow.

So to you, the ones from the outset that are choosing unity over division, I raise my glass to you!

I don't drink alcohol, but if apricot nectar is OK.......

I think much of DU has been infected with a bad case of the German expression "streitsüchtig." If there's a subject where they can let loose with a stream of anger and invective, they're out in force. While a dictionary might translate "streitsüchtig" as something like "quarrelsome," literally translated, it means "addicted to fighting/arguing."

I prefer the old mantra from the Vietnam War days: "what if they had a war and nobody came?"
