One can only wonder what is next.......in any event, if a law degree is responsible for a politician enthusiastically shilling for war and fracking and the TPP and more H-1B visas, then I am thinking that a law degree is a minus, not a plus.

Yes, it takes something to get through law school, but whatever that is, it's not the be all and end all. I am quite sure Bernie could have gotten through law school if he wanted to and if his parents could have financed his education. I don't know if there were even student loans when he was graduated from college.

I have always maintained that taking standardized tests, like the college entrance exam, is one kind of skill; doing well academically is another kind of skill and doing well at your job is a third kind of skill. They don't always come together in the same person. Sometimes, a great surgeon can't get into, or get through, med school. Sometimes, the surgeon who excelled at med school isn't great in the OR, but the one who barely made it out of med school is a genius surgeon.

I was on a hiring committee. I can attest that some of the graduates who had the best academic records were among the most awful and incompetent employees.

Maybe her reach is exceeding her capabilities??????

Also - don't the wizened little meme elves do any sort of due diligence on this crap? If my candidate failed the bar exam in the very place that my candidate wants to be elected to - I wouldn't bring it up in the first place.
