Clinton is Blockbuster. Sanders is Netflix.
Time for all the plutorats to jump Clinton's sinking ship. Maybe Rubio will float?

(9,086 posts)Massachusetts would be the obvious hope I guess. New York.
Clearly a home turf advantage, but Vermont and NH really aren't as similar as people sometimes think.

(11,785 posts)To this day, I wonder how many Texans voted for W just to get him out of Texas for a while.

(3,186 posts)a purplish/red state in regard to our elected US and State level officials. Additionally, I will say that this has been, (for Maine R's)-- precariously true ever since Governor loony-tunes was elected in 2010 with 38% of the vote. I won't bore you with the details of why, because there are far too many factors and unusual circumstances that got us here.
However, all of this is but a 5 year snapshot of time, and one that is not consistent with Maine's overall political climate of the past 30-40 years. (The years that I have been paying attention to).
I live in the more rural red part, and know that (thankfully) southern Mainers outnumber my area's TBagger contingent. Not only that, but the southern vs northern Maine progressive ratio is actually growing due to changing demographics... It's more a matter of getting them out to vote... DWS I'm looking at YOU!!!
Bottom line, when someone, anyone-- mentions either NH or Iowa, many good, positive images come to mind. But "liberal" stronghold(s) are not part of that. Maybe it's just me?
Somehow I don't think so.

(15,859 posts)Youre spot on there. That said, it strikes me as a bit disingenuous that Bernies support here is shrugged off. Especially considering that Hillary beat Obama here last go-round.

(20,453 posts)Gotta jump to those insurance-based diagnostic tests after the insurance industries authorize it...
Gotta see people make choices between taking half of their medicine to breathe, rather than all their medicine to breath.
You see... They'd rather breathe half-assed with a pantry half full than fully breathe with an empty pantry.
The best health care Hillary's monied friends can buy!!!
