Right now, Hillary is like one of those hapless Empire Admirals reporting to Darth Vader

Imagine, in this case, that Darth Vader is a weird composite entity made up of bits of Goldman Sachs' Lloyd Blankfein, JP Morgan Chase' Jamie Dimon, Tata Outsourcing's Prakash Patel, and a whole bunch of other billionaire kingmakers.

Then it would go something like this:

(Darth Blankfein meditation pod opens).

Hillary: Darth Blankfein, I have defeated Bernie Sanders to start this campaign. Everything is going as planned. My nomination is on track.

Darth Blankfein: And yet, Admiral, you only "defeated" Bernie Sanders by a tenth of a tenth of a tenth of a percentage point. That is not a "victory" as I see it, as my fellow billionaire kingmakers who have been funding your campaign see it.

Hillary: Uh, um, er...My liege...A win is a win, right? See, the New York Times has proclaimed me "the winner". Everything's going great!

Darth Blankfein: No, Admiral Clinton -- everything is not "going great". If you can't even decisively defeat what we plutocrats think of as fringe candidate who proudly calls himself a "Democratic Socialist" -- if half the state of Iowa's Democrats effectively voted against you in a state which has for the past six of seven election cycles swung to the Democrats in presidential elections -- then how could you possibly defeat someone like Marco Rubio in a general election? You might not even beat a Ted Cruz in a general election.

Hillary: I will redouble my efforts, my liege. I will destroy Bernie Sanders decisively next time, and I will show you that I can defeat any Republican that comes my way. I will.

Darth Blankfein:
For your sake, Admiral, you had better. Because if you don't...

Hillary: No, please, Darth Blankfein...no!

Darth Blankein: ...we will redirect our money to Marco Rubio, instead. We will not risk another penny on someone who can't show she can protect the D.C/Wall Street/K Street lobbying gravy train which has made us so many billions of swindled money. You might not know how to protect us from the Bernie Sanders out there threatening us, but maybe Marco Rubio will!

(Darth Blankfein meditation pod snaps ominously shut).

or economics, or people, or democracy....there's such a gap in the typical DU Hillary supporter's basic political knowledge (or even, any knowledge at all) that I despair for the party and the nation.
