Who says that Bernie can't win the latino vote?

This would require some going negative, but Hillary supported NAFTA, which has hurt many Mexicans and has been a large part of the illegal immigration rise in the 2000s. Hillary supported the 2009 coup in Honduras, which has in part led to the refugee problem in America, and along with other actions of Hillary, show's that she's pro-imperialist, and a lot of latin america hates American imperialism. Abuelagate shows that hispanics are not all that warm towards Hillary.

Bernie was against NAFTA, supported the people of Nicaragua, and was a loud critic of Reagan's Central American policies. Latinos love populism and are friendly to socialism, and favor economic equality. Bernie wants real universal healthcare and access to college for all.

I agree. My guess is that doubts as to Bernie's electability are keeping many in Hillary's camp. forest444 Feb 2016 #1

And who can blame them! All people hear from the media is how "unelectable" a "74-year-old socialist like Bernie" is.

This, of course, applies to Democratic-leaning voters across the board, not just Hispanic voters.

The better people know him, however, the more they tend to support him; the opposite, unfortunately, seems to be true with Hillary. Once the tipping point is reached, then we'll have a nominee.
