Progressive this week? Moderate next week?

How can Hillary get away with this double speak?

Sometimes I feel as if the Clinton campaign just pulls various canned memes from somewhere and plugs them in.

So which is it? Pick one, Hillary!!

When she's a liberal, they say, "yep, she's a liberal". When she calls herself a moderate, it's, "I want a moderate president"

Haven't you heard! It's suddenly square to be a corpocrat and groovy to be a swinger! As Hillary sure can swing! She can swing in any direction you want!

Time for all the rats to jump Hillary's sad and tired sinking ship.

(make sure nobody she panders to ever gets together and compare notes)

so if she says the opposite things to two audiences she gets twice the votes! that's their logic!

if there's someone who doesn't pander, doesn't flip policies depending on audience, that's another downside

understands that the US is a representative democracy. And as such, there has to be middle ground in order to both make progress on anything, and come as close as possible to reflecting the will of ALL of the voters. That is what leaders do.

In my opinion there are two things needed to truly become a progressive nation that won't be constantly in battle with itself.

1) Work on electing down ticket Dems. And don't blow off midterms.

2) Move the center right voters, to the left. Then we will have a clear majority and not be subject to all the congressional games.

Anything else is just political noise.

Infighting does nothing to move us left.

And I think some on the right are finally starting to wake up to the fact that their elected officials are not being good public servants, and are actively hurting the country. Trump is a perfect indication to me that they are ready for change. But after at least the last 20 plus years, of listening to people like Rush and Glenn Beck scream at them about how horrible the left is, it will take some work.
