A possible reason why the President doesn't deem to be getting hurt by the rightist super PACS.

I think that sincere the republican script since the day that the President took office has been nothing BUT the equivalant of a never ending negative camapign ad, the public may have tuned it out by now and the attacks have just become so much white noise.

Thoughts? Anyone? Bueller...Bueller?

PEACE!

It's like a joke you've heard too many times. It loses its punch and you just start tuning it out. And since the Republican party has become a joke, that's the perfect analogy

If all that junk hasn't made a difference with enough people by now, then it's not going to ever IMHO. The main problem with the right's attacks is that they don't cohabit reality and most people, thankfully, are perceptive enough to recognize that the right's "Barack X" doesn't really exist and that you have to pretty much already be at least halfway gone yourself to seriously buy into right-wing propaganda about President Obama.

They obviously have no clue what that is or what it means. It's the same reason why they think trickle down will still work after 30 years of trying it and after 2008 financial debacle.

At some point when you've been calling the guy a Kenyan Muslim out to implement Sharia law and ruin America from the inside, all criticisms that are less offensive tend to get drowned out and have no impact.

They shoulda saved all those attacks for this year, and they shoulda held the debt fight this summer. That would have crippled Obama. That's what smart people would have done but look who we're talking about.

He and Michelle have refused to get on the defensive or even acknowledge the filthy invectives and bizarre accusations which have been flung at them. They're classy people who don't hate their avowed enemies and who don't get suckered into fighting back.

That makes him more respected by those of us on his side. He and Michelle have become role models on how to act with grace under terrible fire and Americans are beginning to see the importance of that in a leader.
