NYTimes:a jolting psychological blow to the Clinton campaign, leaving volunteers, donors and aides

confused throughout the night, and then crestfallen.

Over the weekend, her campaign had exuded confidence, with some advisers predicting she would win the Iowa caucuses by several percentage points, and by Monday evening, they were urging news outlets to call the race in her favor. They had hoped that she would garner a decisive victory here and put to rest any doubts about her strength as a candidate.

from a new, evening article from the ny times:

HIllary and Bernie Intensify Efforts in NH

By AMY CHOZICK, PATRICK HEALY and YAMICHE ALCINDOR 8:55 PM ET

Final vote counts showed Hillary Clinton narrowly beating Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont, according to The Associated Press and other news organizations.

Naturally the media narrative is going to try and keep the horse race going for as long as possible, for the usual reasons.

more importantly, the question becomes: was Iowa a harbinger of things to come? That thought is what has them discouraged. that is the blow...

If Hillary's Wall Street sugar daddies don't feel she can protect them sufficiently from the Bernie Sander's out there, they will happily redirect their money to Marco Rubio.

not when you’re measuring state delegate equivalents. Sanders’s performance offered concrete electoral proof of the power of his anti-establishment appeal and demonstrated his capacity to compete on par with Clinton, whose organization had far more time and resources on the ground in Iowa."

What does that remind me of. Hmmm. It sounds awfully Bush Campaign Florida 2000.

Push the media outlets to call it a win and then get the hell out of Dodge (leave the scene of the crime ?) ASAP.

Both candidates are expected to focus intensely on New Hampshire, with Clinton advisers saying that Mrs. Clinton may leave the state only for potential fund-raising events.

Bernie can raise $3million in a day just from small donors. Pretty soon he's going to have more cash on hand than she does.

I had to listen to her voice long enough till I could click it off.

Someone needs to tell her not to keep talking when she gets applause.....to wait till she can be heard.
and to get a voice coach.

I like both candidates and enjoy listening to either of them. I hope I never get so biased that one of the Democrats running makes me angry.
