Bernie and the Magical Moving Ceiling (Iowa Edition)

May 2014, http://www.democraticunderground.com/10024961773

One well-connected Iowa Democratic operative told The Daily Beast that Sanders’ ceiling would be 15 percent at best in a one-on-one matchup versus Clinton.

Sanders campaign is essentially following the path that Paul followed four years ago: a candidate who says what's on his mind, generates large crowds of voters disaffected from their default Party, and develops a solid floor of 15-20% in polling but never breaks a ceiling of 20-25%....Come voting time, he does relatively well in Iowa (21-22%)

Bernie Sanders may have reached his ceiling of support in Iowa at just under 30 percent
