2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumWhy does Bernie Sanders have such poorly trained volunteers?
I ask because there is still the allegation circulating here (based on an anonymousblogger on Reddit) that cheating occurred in the tallying of voters in the C-Span broadcast Caucus in Des Moines, with the further allegation of collusion by the elected Precinct Chair. I watched the entire Caucus as well, and there was a clearly identified Sanders Precinct Captain working with the Precinct Chair through the meeting. So, was she not paying attention to what went on? Was she not trained to complain if a violation occurred or at least instructed to call Campaign HQ? Or is it just possible that no violation occurred in the opinion of the people actually there?
Add to which, am I to understand that the Clinton Precinct Captain decided to cheat in full view of TV cameras?

(3,649 posts)The Hillary precinct captain lied repeatedly there. The Sanders people did the right thing by challenging the vote and demanding a recount, but of course the crowd didn't want to stand there for another 30 minutes. Unbelievable.

Absolutely brilliant. Now she has to go find more money for the rest of the states.

(67,112 posts)what they do or say. To me, it's horrible when democrats say things and fight among ourselves. I like both Bernie and Hillary, and would never say bad things about either one. It's so frustrating for me when I see a lot of name calling and all by anyone. It's so damn immature. The focus needs to be on getting a dem in the WH in 2016. Just my thoughts, brooklynite, I've wondered too.
