I've heard that before.

It's still good though

2. No it's not! Obama may cruise but we need to ramp up turnout to increase our share of Congress.

3. As far as I am concerned, we are 10 points behind in the polls.

And we should act like it until the day after the election.

Overconfidence and complacency are the bread and butter of the republicans.

The polls are nothing without at least that amount voting. I'd say turnout should be as good or better than 2008, to compensate for the cheating. I'm sorry I won't trust any of this till it's over.

10. 9:10 "The rest of this election is like that tape at the end ... it's just watching a guy bleed out"

I literally laughed out loud at this.

(When Cenk references "that tape at the end" he means the clip where the crowd is chanting for Ryan, and Romney tries to get them to chant "Romney-Ryan" but only one guy joins in.)

"The rest of the press will tell you pretty stories about how it's a close election, and you need to panic and you need to pay close attention to what's happening. But you know what? The rest of this election is like that tape at the end there: it's just watching a guy bleed out."

Kill them with facts.

He's right on white men. Republicans only chance is to win that vote by large margins.

Or just hang on the tubes with you guys.

Oy. Cenk, you're not tapping into your GOP roots and discouraging the hard working activists, are you?

WTF?

I see he's doing election night coverage with some real grown-ups, he's going to have to step up his game, as I mentioned to Jennifer Granholm.

13. I think this kind of opinion piece can be productive

The more Romney and his campaign are shown to be incompetent, unhinged, and gaffe-prone, the more horrifying the prospect of losing to him becomes.

It would be helpful if Cenk added something like that to his commentary (for example, "This man could end up as the leader of the free world if the Democrats get complacent&quot , but I think most Democrats already understand that when they see a clip such as this one.

He knows that there's no way Mitt can match it. No one gives a crap about him.
