I just watched this video and there is no need to even comment on how stupid these Republicans think we are by airing this accusing Obama of driving up the deficit, which they refused to help eleminate with even the smallest tax increase, and the incredible charge that Obama has done nothing to help with the divisiveness..( which these fuckers created! )

Is there a "smiley" or whatever you call these things depicting someone with their head up their ass??

I mean are these people serious or just paid actors?

1. Sleep

I still don't see how they can look in the mirror or sleep at night. No conscience, no moral core, no sense whatsoever of responsibility, honor, or integrity. And I am almost 100% sure they each, or most, sleep very soundly. It's only when they get caught (normally not the case) that there is that brief period of psuedo introspection. Here and there a few do seem to have a bit of conscience, Richard Clarke for example. But that seems to be few and far between.

2. Artur Davis puzzles me.

Why did he vote against Obamacare anyway! And as a Democrat committed to his party's platform, why is he so eager to have it repealed and replaced with something that costs taxpayers more money?

That one, I don't get. I couldn't bring myself to watch the rest.

I think it's important as part of phonebanking to understand where people are coming from so that you can have a meaningful dialogue with them.

I guess at some point, I'll go back and watch. But right this minute, I don't have the stomach for it.

3. I've watched them all now.

As I expected, they expected a miracle from Obama and didn't get one, so they are voting for change and crossing their fingers.

They aren't especially convincing but the fact that they exist is really the point. They come across as sane people, and they are targeting independent voters who are not moved by women's issues.

When I make calls, I am constantly astonished by the number of women who don't consider women's issues to be a high enough priority to vote for Obama. If they don't care, there's no point in bringing it up...
