trying to convince family, friends and acquaintances to vote for Martin was like pulling teeth. The dem side has really only been a two person race. I started a sanders supporter but switched.

The only one I picked right in my lifetime was Obama and I am still shocked he won.

This is the most heartbroken I've been though. Knowing that we've lost an opportunity for a president who passionately supports immigration reform and would make it one of his top priorities breaks my heart. I look at the other two candidates and am so incredibly disappointed.

So I'll stick by that support, personally...

In fairness, about Edwards I even actually said "He has all of Clinton's strengths, without the womanizing!" On that, I'll cop to an "oops" moment.

Primaries are an emotional time. Democrats Abroad vote on March 1st, and although voting there would disqualify me from voting absentee in DC, I'll probably do it since March 1 looks like a rough day for Sanders and I figure he could use some help.

Really hoping Iowa has perked up the ears of people who haven't been listening to the news. It is amazing to me that more people don't pay closer attention to politics and what is happening in the world around him. I admit to being a junkie.

Edwards was a philanderer, not a womanizer.

He was also my favorite candidate. Phone-banked for him to the bitter end. As noted elsewhere in this thread, his Two Americas platform was beautiful. Strangely (or not), the most vicious opposition I ever got was from Hillary supporters. Irony, I guess.

face LaRouche presented on TV and would have been shocked if they'd seen the real, extremist one he kept for his true believers.. I thought he sounded interesting on some interview show -- until i was interested enough to go read, and then whoa! There are probably a number of ex- brief LaRouchies here. He was a very clever left-wing nut-creep. The Democratic Party refused to let him run on our ticket.

Bill Bradley too.

Gary Hart was the worst because of the way he lost. Obama was the only winner I voted for in the primaries but that was because my first choice had dropped out.

I have a bunch of campaign buttons which I hope to some day mount and frame and call it my wall of losers.

I was hoping to vote for O'Malley in the PA primary, but figured he probably wouldn't get that far. I always wonder at who gets traction and who doesn't. I mean, why Sanders (who I have nothing against) but not O'Malley?

but I have been hearing of (and liking) Bernie for years and years. I never heard of O'Malley until this election cycle so he wasn't on my radar at all. But I like what I hear from him. He'd be my second choice.
