http://truth-out.org/buzzflash/commentary/item/17542-netanyahu-stops-flirting-with-romney-tilts-toward-obama-in-un-speechIf you were superstitious about all the poll trending showing Obama on a surge in the key swing states of Ohio, Virginia and Florida, it's official now: the race is over. How do we know: the right wing Neo-con prime minister of Israel, American-educated (MIT) Benjamin Netanyahu, used a UN speech yesterday to end his flirtation with Mitt Romney and compliment Barack Obama at the same time.
Netanyahu had been using a "red line" against Iran's nuclear program to make it seem like Obama would not support an Israeli strike on the nation's nuclear facilities this autumn, while tilting toward Romney.
But his September 27th speech to the UN, complete with a blow-up of a Rocky and Bullwinkle type of fuse bomb, was a message to Mitt that the courtship is over. Perhaps it was the polling trends that scared off Netanyahu from trying to assist Romney with the Jewish vote; perhaps it was just the never-ending Romney bumbling that got Mr. Neo-con of the Jewish State nervous.

(14,572 posts)I thought he would maybe mention president Obama once, maybe twice, but mostly just stick to The United States of America.
He mentioned President Obama by name, I think a half dozen times.
First time, he said "President Obama took the lead in putting sanctions in place ..."
He then was very clear in saying that they worked economically, but Iran continued to progress with its program.
I think he could have not said President Obama there, I think he was looking to highlight that he thought he was doing his part, and I think he was sure to add in that they worked to safe guard shots at President Obama over them not working.
He mentioned the he and President Obama talk regularly, then he said he and President Obama will continue to work together.
He could simply have said our countries, or the United States of America.
I think he clearly said who he was working with and who he planned on working with moving forward.
