A tough campaign week may have just gotten worse for Newt Gingrich, with Bloomberg News quoting a source close to Sheldon Adelson saying that the casino mogul — who has already funneled $11 million into a super-PAC supporting Gingrich — does not plan to donate further to his campaign.

The story came out earlier this week that Adelson would turn the taps on once a nominee is selected. He had a fun ride through South Carolina until his role and money became public and afterwards Gnewt not only tanked in Florida but in Nevada as well...he couldn't even win his own special caucus.

Adelson's an asshole but he's not a fool...he wants someone he can buy and the Millard people sound like they threw him a bone to hop on board. This is all about peddling influence and the bottom line is buying the right politician...Adelson went with Gneut until he started rolling snake-eyes.
