I have a week

I live in New Hampshire. Our election day is a week from Tuesday (I think ); February 9th.

If you live in NH - or Iowa, or South Carolina - you get exposed to a lot of candidates, yet your voice has more power - disproportionately, I would argue, than if you were from, say, L.A., or hell, even NYC. There are arguments as to why NH is a valid prototype state, as I'd call it, and I've posted beore (and will again if anyone's interested) for the election, but the reality is, like or not, it is.

So, what do I do next Tuesday (well, a week from Tuesday)? I'd like to represent as many people as I can. I used to live in Burlington, VT when Bernie was mayor, so I'm inclined that way (Bernie is frickin' great - he walks the walk, as they say - always has). I'm not as comfortable with Hillary, but I'm in awe of her political machine and I suspect it might be a twofer (which I suspect others are hoping too) - Bill in addition to Hillary. Hilllary might be more of her own person that we might think and might marginalize Bill but I suspect these two have built a political partnership over the years that trumps (no pun intended) situations where one or the other is in office.

And, observation-wise, on re-reading before posting - are people really voting for Hillary, or are they secretly hoping they're re-electing Bill? I almost suspect the latter.

I'm inclined to Bernie, but if I can vote for DU members in the states out of the spotlight, who'd you want and why?

(I know this is just asking for a nightmare thread, but I'm asking anyway).

He nails almost all of the issues, he's got a record of consistency, of working for people and their issues, he's persistent, he's not about his own career but about, again, people and their issues, he's in a better position to win the general...I could go on, but for me, it's all about the issues. Neo-liberal Democrats have been compromising the issues for far too long.
