Hillary has been attacked for almost 25 years, and she is STILL STANDING TALL!!

Hillary Clinton has been trashed by right wing SMEARS for decades, and SHE IS STILL STANDING! That is one tough grandmother!

So many of these attacks have been CRAP. And she is STILL STANDING TALL! I admire this woman who has been through so much and put up with so much, and so much of it ridiculous and unfair. Right now they are spending millions trying to damage her in these primaries because they are SCARED of her. She is ready on day one. She is the most prepared on both sides. She is supremely qualified. She is tough and PROGRESSIVE. If and when we go into the general election season with Hillary as standard bearer, she and her team will RELENTLESSLY ATTACK the RePUKE nominee, and no one needs to worry about new surprises being found out about Hillary. She has been through it all, has been mega vetted, and she will have on steel armor as she POUNDS THE CRAP out of who is probably going to be The Trump. I can't wait.

Sun Jan 31, 2016, 09:45 AM
Jan 2016

Where there's smoke, there's fire.

The Clintons have brought most of this crap on themselves. If they didn't do stupid things, they wouldn't get 1/2 the criticism they get.

The email scandal is just an example. I don't know of many CEO's who would allow one of their executive staff to put together a private server, and use it for company business. I'm pretty sure that that executive would have been fired as soon as it came out. She acted like she wasn't part of the team, which is mind boggling to me. So, she did it anyway, an email system which was a little more fortified than a home computer system. This computer system should have been like Fort Knox, if it was to be used for foreign policy and top secret emails.

Did she have to put together this email system? No. This was a bad (stupid) decision, which she is rightly criticized for. Now, it is taking valuable time and money to go through this system to see if it got hacked or if any thing else is amiss. And, to top it off, she didn't comply to the investigation right away, but stalled and deleted emails and made it more difficult for an audit. Even if she did nothing wrong (well, she did do something stupid), she had made it look worse than it may actually be, and it is HER FAULT. You can't blame this on any one else, she did something that she should have known was dumb and then tried to cover it up and has now cost us taxpayers millions of dollars and maybe millions more still to come and has taken agents off of assignments that could be used for national security.

This is only ONE of the bad decisions that Hillary and/or Bill have made since they have been in the public sector. Some attack may not have been warranted, but some have been. This is not something that they should be proud of.

Sun Jan 31, 2016, 10:18 AM

It has always been my opinion that the attacks against Mrs. Clinton in 2008 were so fierce, that's what helped make Obama that primary victor. Republicans didn't think Obama would win as President, they under estimated his strength too.

Mrs. Clinton is much stronger, more seasoned then she was in 2007-2008. I like Senator Sanders a lot! but I doubt republicans can pound down Mrs. Clinton enough for Sanders to win the primary.

But it will be close primary and I wish Sanders and Clinton would team-up and make the general election a D landslide.

13. See how she talks about how the story so "HURT" her inside? She PLAYS to the audience.

This is why she lies and distorts so much. She works very hard to PLAY to the particular audience she is with. (If it's New Yorkers, she is a "lifelong Yankee fan." If it's a group of women, she turns into the "loving mother whose own daughter was in danger on 9/11." If it's the end of a debate, she "is honored to be with Barack Obama." If it's in Ohio, then "shame on you Barack Obama." etc. etc.) She wants so much to appear "human" because so many people feel she is so cold. You just don't know which Hillary you are going to get on any given day or at any given moment. I wonder if she suffers from multiple personality syndrome

HRC and her pals and Wall Street and the chattering class and, and, and...

ALL expected a coronation. Many expected Warren would run and when she backed off, and the rest of the pols agreed to the "its her turn" nonsense Sanders was pressed into the fray.

And not to put him down but NOBODY thought a campaign based on real Democratic Party principles would resonate with the public.

Now HRC and her cronies are in the fight of their lives against an old Jew from Brooklyn in his seventies. They have all the advantages and privileges of supporting a candidate who is equally comfortable in the board rooms of Wall Street and the Board Room of Walmarts.

All Sanders has is a history of pro-people votes and, oh yeah, a whole bunch of people.

Iowa will be a starting line. The game will be afoot.

No one believes for a second that this is how HRC and her cronies expected things to go.

...and better off financially than at any other time in her life... Most of the rest of us, though, have been beaten down by the relentless onslaught of Republican policies while weak (read: complicit) Democrats did little or nothing to protect our interests.

Finally we have the choice of someone who will fight for US, Bernie Sanders. He has shown he is not afraid to confront the big money boys (and yes, it is still mostly boys) head-on.

Go, Bernie!

And then faced sexism, too. One thing most people who buy into the anti-Hillary rhetoric fail to understand--the huge amount of money and energy spent attacking her to try to keep her out-of-power (by the Big Business interests who fund Republicans) is not because "she has ties to Wall-Street", or "is part of the establishment"--if that were the case they wouldn't be spending millions and millions to stop her. They are scared of her for good reason.

"I believe that by the year 2000 we will have a single payer system,... I don't even think it's a close call politically... if it's not successful the first time, it will eventually be." H R Clinton 1994

Or this one?

How about we all stand up and shake off the triangulated positions and crumbs we will be given permission to get --- and actually get with a candidate what walks with us and for us? Let's get real progress and not "poetry and prose" crap.
