2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumI am tired of the brutal "winners and losers" type capitalist system in America
That makes capitalism into a game of "winners" and "losers", and that dehumanizes the "losers" and sees them as necessary collateral damage in order to enrich the 1% "winners". Anyone, rich and poor, can ultimately be tragic victims of this system, and even for anyone who hasn't lost in it, it can pretty much feel like wage slavery. Bernie is the only person out there that truly believes there needs to be change to this brutal economic system, and who's policy proposals reflect that.
And that is largely why I'm voting for Bernie. We need change, dammit!

All problems were caused by welfare queens driving Cadillacs.
We needed to give the wealthy huge tax breaks, and wealth would trickle down to us all.

Tragically, the Jack assess known as the Democratic Party will likely splinter come November. Too many Dems are married to American Capitalism, losers and all.

If they don't have the capacity to survive, then it's our duty to protect them and help them survive. It's just common decency and empathy to protect those that are to weak to protect themselves.
That's why we need single payer healthcare, which includes mental health healthcare, and the only candidate willing to make it a reality is none other than, well, you know.
