(27,310 posts)Now anyone who buys a .vote or .voto domain must sign an agreement verifying he or she is the candidate or represents the candidate. If it turns out someone lied, candidates can report it to the dotVOTE registry, which will immediately take down the website.

(421 posts)To make it all "official?" These is a movement of the people, seems right that even the some of the official ads would come from the "grassroots!"

(11,945 posts)This thread is refreshing after taking a glance into Clinton activities revealed in other OPs. (Shudder.)
Bernie stands for what's good. I'll take Bernie any day.

I'm thinking the Trump demographic might take like this ad much. But for quite a few of the rest of us out here, it is spirit fuel.

(2,672 posts)Truly, thank you.
I was only fourteen in '68, but wow!, what an era. The music, fresh, bold, and alive. When I was sixteen in '70, I was a full-fledged hippie in a high school full of hippies. I mean real hippies with long hair, torn jeans, moccasins, pot smoking, but, first and foremost, our education was important to us.
After graduation in '72, before enrolling at the university, I hitchhiked wherever the wind took me. I stayed at communes, crash pads, I slept in parks, girls would take me to their apartments to stay a few nights before I would head out. In Farmington, NM, a couple of girls picked me up hitchhiking in one of the girl's car. All of a sudden, a pickup truck with two redneck dudes who knew the girls, threatened to kick my ass, I wasn't frightened in the least because I knew how to defend myself (I studied Karate when I was a kid), but the girls defended me from their abusive language. It wasn't a big deal but I remember it because it was the closest I got to violence.
Anyway, enough of that. I got started on a rant and I kept going. There's so much more. Sorry.
Thanks again for the music. It brought back wonderful memories.
