contacted phone numbers that were listed on peoples voter registration forms so it could be cell phones and land lines.

But most millenials and younger tend to not answer the phone for strange numbers. The poll said that it polled all ages and such... But I don't know that it polled them evenly.

Either way, look at it this way.

If the poll is CORRECT, then we're in a dead heat and voter turnout will win it for Bernie.

If the poll is incorrect then, Bernie definitely wins.

I was polled a year or so ago and I only have a cell. But I learned my lesson and now don't answer any number I don't recognize.

Cell phones are NOT answered maybe 1 in 40 at best so trying to ascertain the tendencies of cell phone only folks is a joke. There is no fudge coefficient that can factor out several age cohorts who do not answer the phone for strange numbers. Monday will tell the tale...

Have concerns over Microsoft reporting apparatus... Certain to be a means of "massaging" the caucus results!

Is it possible that we have no real idea of what's going on if polls do not count people with out a land line or cell phone?

if you ask me. Who fills stadiums? Bernie. Who stands in empty bowling allies? Ms. Clinton.

I believe my own eyes versus what some poll says. In California I see bumper stickers for one candidate only. Bernie. lots of them. I believe my own eyes and not what the media tells me to believe.

Sorry if my question was off base but I am trying to find out some info here I had read on this site that part of the reason the polling was off in Iowa in 2008 was because at that time polls did not include cell phones.

I don't even know how you can do a landline only poll in this age.

I only have a landline because it was actually cheaper to have one as part of a cable/internet package.

I can go weeks without using it.

There are different rules for calling cell phones in that it can't be a robodial, so it's more expensive. Most polls that I've seen have polled more land lines, but have included cell phones.

They generally list that in the methodology. For that matter many polls also poll some people with neither cell phones nor land lines.
