Romney talking at CPAC now: Public Servants should not get a better deal than the people they serve

But he didn't say......Rich Millionaires and corporations can get a better deal than everyone else!

Also, Romney says he's on the same page as the Ryan Plan. That Romney, as President, will increase the Age of retirement.

He says again that he will also eliminate Obama Care.

Said President Obama shouldn't be lecturing others on values, as he has inflicted nothing but pain on the American people.

And he said he will reverse every single Obama decision that has attacked religion institutions....

Romney will not be cutting the military budget. He said, if you don't believe in us having the strongest military in the world, you've already got that President now!

and then I will come to Washington and change Washington, and then I will go back to my home and my community that I love.

I hate this asshole!

I seriously doubt that was Mittens' angle... but hey.

I've started to hate him. Same deal with Santorum. These people have ugly shriveled hearts.

And the funny thing is, EVERY person running for POTUS says "I'll do this" and "I'll do that" but once inside the hallowed halls, it ain't that easy.

He also said any tax cuts are off the table.

AND, has someone ever seriously asked him WHY he's so against Obama Care since it's essentially Romney Care?

How you doin' Frenchie?

I listened to his ...talk.... and found myself so frustrated by the hate and divisive attitude. I got stuck in anger and had to work hard to listen.

When he said public servants shouldn't get a better deal than the people they serve it struck me, are "public servants" not people just like me? If someone is a teacher, a policeperson, a soldier, a social worker, a mechanic, lab technician, firefighter... any number of careers in the "public sector" does that make 'them' aliens?

geez louise.

just finished reading a novel and there is a part which struck me as so profound.. where a mother talking to her young son says:

"We are made up of equal parts light and dark. Kind and cruel. This is the great battle of life. Everyday we must struggle against the dark. The only way to win the battle, Benjamin, is compassion. You may fall victim to the cruelty of others, but in the long run, you will have won."
from, Spilling Clarence by Anne Ursu

The CPAC seems like it is full of people intent on feeding the darkness in peoples souls.

President Obama is far more intent on fostering unity, looking out for everyone, not just "us" even when that rankles those who want him to do otherwise, when it isn't easy or comfortable.

8. Guess Mitt was too busy bullsh**ing the base, to read the CBPP report
Fri Feb 10, 2012, 03:23 PM
Feb 2012

that proved public employees make less than their private counterparts.

Studies find that public workers are paid 4 to 11 percent less than private-sector workers with
similar education, job tenure, and other characteristics.1 This wage disadvantage is greatest for higher-wage public workers."

shouldn't get a better deal than those they serve, he's saying the "hired help" should know their place and STFU.

Good idea for once, Mittens. Glad to see you in favour of contraception coverage for all.
