During the 2012 campaign season I would like to see ...

the Democratic Party tell the American people that WE are the party of American VALUES, Traditional VALUES, and Family VALUES.

The Democratic Party that ...

that is inclusive of ALL families
that fights for the RIGHTS of ALL Women
that fights for EQUALITY for EVERYONE and will not stand for any form of discrimination
that cares for our Veterans and puts money where our mouths are as far as caring for our Veterans: jobs, housing, education, medical issues
that cares about the health, welfare, and education of ALL our children
that is the biggest defender of services for our elderly citizens
etc etc etc - and the list goes on.

It is time stand up and show that the republicans are NOT the party of values of any kind.

Every time I hear a republican say the phrase 'family values' it makes me want to puke!

Ellen DeGeneres made an awesome first step the other day when she said: " ... And here are the values that I stand for. I stand for honesty, equality, kindness, compassion, treating people the way you want to be treated and helping those in need. To me those are traditional values, that’s what I stand for.”

Now we need to go forward and expand on her words and take back the word 'values'.
