Not sure what to make of Page's facial expression. Make of it what you will.
Could be that they are putting out something false to lessen the impact of what's coming (and to back up the it's a VWRC charge). Maybe. Who knows.
McLaughlin has people on his show from the left and right.

(31,849 posts)But with far fewer folks (Democrats) hoping you'd be indicted.

(10,130 posts)"the FBI will recommend that Hillary Clinton face prosecution for mishandling classified information. Thats the FBI."
and she won't be indicted.
If one is running for president and the FBI recommends they be prosecuted for anything, that is not good news - whether they're indicted or not. There will be a national debate over whether they should be indicted, more voters will hear about it and stuff like that damages the candidate in the eyes of the electorate who will not feel a person the FBI thinks should be prosecuted belongs in the White House.

Democratic label. However, they are too busy attacking him.

(10,130 posts)Her campaign would effectively be over.
Obama beat Romney 51% to 47%. It's probably going to be a tight contest with no incumbent. They probably only have to move the needle a couple of points to change the outcome. Something like this would move it more than a couple of points.
The other part of the indictment debate would be accusations that Obama put his thumb on the scales of justice trying to protect her. => Senate investigation => threatening impeachment, etc
Ugly stuff.

(11,995 posts)"Obama beat Romney 51% to 47%" in popular vote means nothing... Gore won the popular vote and still lost the election. The state breakdown is what matters.

(10,130 posts)2012 results:
Colorado Obama +5 9 EV
Florida Obama +1 29 EV
Ohio Obama +3 18 EV
Virginia Obama +4 13 EV
=================
69 Electoral College votes within 5 pts
Move those to Romney's column with a 2.5% voter swing from Obama to Romney in those states
and Romney wins 275-263.
If Hillary being accused by the FBI changes the minds of 5% of her voters (2.5% swing) (and that would probably change the minds of more than 5%), she's toast because she's running with or behind most Republicans now.

(50,130 posts)She's really walking a tightrope right now.

(10,130 posts)Hillary Clinton is very vulnerable to that 2.5% or more swing in the weeks before the election. They have so much stuff in the can against her that I fear it's going to be brutal. The voters will be reminded of all the Clinton scandals Whitewater, Travelgate, Cattle Futures, through to Benghazi, State Department emails, Clinton Foundation, her career collection of lies, her collection of 22+ flip-flops on policy, etc.
Yes, she has experience and so do we. Not all of America's experiences with Hillary have been good ones. The GOP will make sure we remember ALL the bad ones.
All that crap is going into the hands of dishonest men like Karl Rove with BIG Koch funding for the general election. In the general campaign, they're going to rip her apart every day. If the campaign starts out close, as it is now, the GOP will get that 2.5% and then some. Whatever the Dems might have on any of the GOP candidates, the GOP have ten times as much mud to throw with Hillary.
