Bernie Sanders: “We will raise taxes, yes we will”

Bernie Sanders: “We will raise taxes, yes we will”
01/25/16 10:49 PM—UPDATED 01/25/16 11:04 PM

We will raise taxes, yes we will,” Sanders said to moderator Chris Cuomo of CNN at a Democratic forum on the campus of Drake University.

It’s the kind of blunt, un-politician-like talk that has endeared Sanders to his fans, but it’s also a comment ready-made for a political attack ad.

Or for those who are seeking to denigrate Bernie on any score.

This attack is pure RW scare tactics.

I'm not sure you are in the right party.

I'd rather pay my $446 a year to Uncle Sam than $4,500 to United Healthcare.*

It's a damn good thing Clinton hasn't said anything ready-made for a political attack ad, huh?

Why, I'm sitting here, wracking my brain to think of anything she's said that would be similar fodder, and, well, I come up empty.

Nope, can't think of even one thing.

How about you?

so an attack ad can be made.

Between Bloomberg's statement about running and why, Wall Street Super PACs running ads against Bernie in Iowa, and CNN's ageism attack, Bernie really has them worried! Things are really heating up, but they just don't understand that this genie is out of the bottle.

Bernie's message has lit a big fire, whether or not Bernie wins, the people have had enough of this crap. The very wealthy and powerful are divorced from the pain this corruption is causing to the rest of us. They will continue to demand more and more, and the divide will grow. New leaders will continue to come forward. Too many of us choose not to live under corporate rule!
