2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumI knew what this would be going in, but didn't think it would be so blatant.
The DNC enlists CNN and Cuomo plus audience plants to save Hillary's ass in Iowa. This is propaganda at it's finest and it's sickening.

He had to participate. He knew it was stage-managed and still did a great job.
This is their last shot.

(94,786 posts)Let's have a Bernie Sanders supporter call out Iowa voters personally. I'm sure they'll appreciate it.
Or perhaps you could apologize for being obnoxious.

(2,978 posts)I am suggesting that may have occurred tonight, based on the admission by the Clinton campaign that they asked two Town Hall members last week to specifically ask questions.
That's the first time in my life anyone's ever called me obnoxious. Hah! Thanks.
Have a nice night.

If people around here had to apologize for being obnoxious,
you (and me) would be busy with that for a long, long time.

You think the question about her Iraq vote was planted?
Of course ANY question was planted according to Sanders supporters.

That Islamophobia question is a total softball though.

(4,407 posts)It's funny how comments pop up from Hillary at random. It sort of reminds me of when I'm waiting at the train station to get to work and the loudspeaker randomly emits a "helpful hint" like about baggage.

EDIT: Turns out they DID run a Bernie ad during her turn to speak, good for them.
CNN tweeted about how he spoke to loud and it was odd... yet they won't point out Hillary's yelling?

(1,668 posts)but I thought the moderator badgering Bernie worked in his favor.
And then Cuomo gave Hillary the Obama endorsement that Obama wouldn't give her... /eyeroll
It was pretty obvious bias, but it was to be expected. Cuomo is part of the 1%. Why should he pay a few more percentage points on his >$2 million dollar yearly income (or be punished as he put it) to help some low income family receive healthcare?
OrwellwasRight

Thanks for the laugh.
P.S. That first young man who asked Hillary why people thought she was dishonest and why they weren't enthused about her. He was probably the best plant, right? Under deep, deep cover.

(7,865 posts)The moderator was in her court. No crazy x files crap needed if the moderator is constantly pressing Bernie while reciting the accolades heaped upon Secretary Clinton. There is no conspiracy, just simple bias.
It angered me enough to throw another 25 bucks Bernie's way. Thank you CNN.
